Development Stage:

Early Exploration

Auroch is an Australia-based company with a focus on global renewable energy markets, engaged in lithium exploration in Namibia and copper exploration in Portugal.

Following an exhaustive, world-wide search for quality assets to supply renewable energy markets, Auroch has secured three (3) key projects:

The Tisová Co, Cu Project (Option to acquire 100%):  Located in the Czech Republic, this historic mine was mined intermittently since the end of the 12th century and more recently operated from 1959 to 1973 when it produced 560kt of ore containing 0.68% Cu. The Tisová Project is a substantial unrecognised cobalt play in the heart of industrial Europe. The important point here is that the while copper orebodies are not wide, they occur within a much thicker zone of pyrite and pyrrhotite mineralisation (up to 60m), it is here, outside the copper zones, that our sampling indicates the presence of significant cobalt and gold that was not recognised during the mining phase. With the true thickness of up to 60m of sulphide-rich mineralisation and the deposit open in all directions there is potential for a significant operation to be developed should the grades and continuity of the cobalt and gold mineralisation be proven by new exploration drilling.

‘Land of the Giants’ – Alcoutim (Portugal) Cu-Zn Project ( Auroch earning – 75%): Situated on the Iberian Pyrite Belt in Portugal, amongst several of the world’s largest VMS deposits (Cu-Zn-Pb-Ag-Au), the potential to discover a world class deposit here is real. The fact our tenement occurs directly along strike from Neves Corvo (>200 Mt of Cu-Zn resources), has the same geologic package of rocks, and has multiple coincident: gravity, EM and magnetics targets highlights its prospectivity. Portugal is a modern European country with first-class infrastructure, efficient power and communication networks, easily accessible ports and airports, judicial security, and transparent mining laws. There are multiple currently operating large mines, and exploration activity is at a high level considering the relatively small extent of the country (92,2000 Km2).

Karibib Li Project (Auroch – 100%): Located in Namibia, this project gives us immediate upside potential in the rapidly evolving lithium market. The Project is situated next door to two (2) of Namibia’s high-grade historic lithium producing mines, Rubikon and Helikon. Namibia is a mining friendly country, host to Rio Tinto, Glencore, Vedanta and De Beers. With a strong financial position, Auroch aims to add its name to the list of companies working in the region as it looks to rapidly identify and test large lithium bearing pegmatites, similar in age and style to historic producing mines.
